Getting There

Toro Dorado is located in Nosara, Costa Rica.

The estate is a 15 minutes drive from the airport of Nosara, which itself can be reached either by car, or by airplane from the international airport of San Jose, Costa Rica's capital, as well as Liberia airport.

By car, the journey from San Jose to the coast of Nosara will take around 4 hours (253 km), and 2 hours (117 km) from Liberia to Nosara, through Costa Rica's famous coffee, banana and pineapple plantations.

By plane, it takes around 1 hour from San Jose. Flights from Libera go via San Jose. The aerial experience of Costa Rica's coastline is well worth it, and offers amazing views on the islands of the Golf of Nicoya.

Generally, Costa Rica offers great tropical vacation conditions all year round, with average daily temperatures between 25°C and 35°C during the heart of the dry season (November - April)

During the green season (May - October), average temperatures reach between 24°C and 30°C. There are periods of blue skies and mixed clouds punctuated by brief intense rainstorms or rare days of long light rains.
